宗旨: “Come as student, Leave as Manager”

本中心宗旨:「進入學校時是一位學生，畢業時是一位專業經理人」。為了要達成此宗旨，HTMi著重加強於讓每位學生藉由本校專業訓練，而成為一位專業管理人才，當然所有課程皆由飯店管理產業的佼佼者以及全校教師所設計規劃而成。

知名的瑞士飯店文憑教育 (Famous Swiss hospitality diploma education)

瑞士的教育觀光產業舉世聞名。全世界第一所飯店學校創立於19世紀初的Lausanne ，從那時起瑞士就開始扮演全世界國際觀光產業舉足輕重的角色。每年都有大批的國際學生湧入瑞士，希望能獲得最專業的訓練。HTMi滿足所有胸懷大志學生們的需求，提供英語授課的專業訓練課程來達成他們的夢想。

高品質的國際學位 (High quality international university degree)

HTMi除了提供管理訓練課程外，修業完成後還授與學生一系列高價值的瑞士文憑( Certificate, Diploma, Higher Diploma及Postgraduate Diploma courses )，這些反映出現今觀光飯店產業與最新思維和知識相互結合是極為重要，此外HTMi還與國際知名大學合作Bachelor和Masters Degree 課程。本校提供的所有課程皆由國際認可，HTMi的專業教育訓練是掛品質保證的。

專業的管理訓練 ( Professional management training)

HTMi提供許多就業機會給畢業生。由於現代飯店觀光產業都在積極應徵新血加入，HTMi培養出的傑出經理管理人才需具備高E Q的人際溝通關係和專業的行為表現。近年來知名國際飯店都在募集積極且有高熱忱的畢業生加入他們的團隊，所有應徵的畢業生須具備充分的專業訓練及教育，包括的專業技能課程有行銷學、人力資源、櫃台作業、房務管理、食品管理、廚房訓練、服務訓練、宴會安排、第二外語、電腦技能、簡報技能及觀光產業相關知識背景等…。透過HTMi所提供的專業知識及技能，能同時教育學生的管理能力和開發職業技能的潛力。以上所提及的專業科目皆包含在HTMi的課程裡，HTMi希望所有學生在畢業前，都能熟悉且做好萬全準備去迎接畢業後就馬上進入職場。

HTMi 集合世界國際餐旅管理研究人員研究報告發表論文及期刊 .
2008 年 12 月 HTMi 創瑞士第一所飯店管理大學舉辦國際餐旅管理研究會議 ,
許多研究報告及期刊及 HTMi 大學部及碩士研究生論文正式發表 .
2009年11月18-20日, 擴大舉辦國際餐旅管理研究會議 , 邀請歐洲, 加拿大, 台灣等國際學術研究機構
發表許多研究報告及期刊. 會議非常圓滿成功. 建立HTMi在國際餐旅管理研究水準及地位 ,
學生研究素質及水準也提高, 這是其他瑞士飯店管理學院所沒有的特色.

Launching the First International Hospitality Research Centre and Journal
HTMi has launched the first International Hospitality Research Centre in Switzerland linked to an Academic  Journal to publish student`s work which has been reviewed and peer reviewed by leading researchers. This is part of the HTMi strategy to make research a key part of the academic curriculum at all levels. In late 2008 HTMi opened its International Hospitality Research Centre in Soerenberg , and held its first international hospitality research conference, and then launched the International Hospitality Students Journal. This is an important addition to the development of HTMi, and the curriculum quality offered to our staff and students.

The Centre for Culinary Management at HTMi is focused to educate and train students to acquire the culinary management skills and knowledge required by the global hospitality industry.

HTMi領導的會展管理團隊

HTMi領導的會展管理團隊會成功圓滿策劃和舉行每場會議，並將每場會展的成本降到最低，但把效益發揮到最高功效。要開始策劃會展活動之前，健全完整的計畫是會展成功的主要關鍵。計畫可分類為策略和執行兩部份，決策是計畫的關鍵成分之一，只要計畫中的決策都做好，本中心就可以策畫出最理想的會展活動。

Our leading events management team will guide through your events successfully while driving your profits up and costs to a minimum. To initiate the event, robust planning is the key to make the event become successful. Planning can be categorised as either strategic or operational. Decision-making is a key component of planning, since choices have to be made in the process of finalising the plans. We are here to decide all of this and retain the best for your event.

宗旨

Event Management會展管理產業是近年來觀光旅遊產業快速成長的一部分，本中心的宗旨在於教育及訓練人才來滿足國際會展產業的就業需求。現今會展產業涵蓋的範圍很多：婚禮籌劃、會議策劃、研討會、展覽、商展等…，因此專業的籌辦會展人才須具備廣泛的知識，例如：金融、經營概念及管理層面上的相關知識等…，為了使每位學生能達到專業標準，本中心將全力配合協助學生的學習狀況。

本中心的承諾

HTMi The Centre for Career Management的國際就業管理中心與全世界國際性的主要大型國際飯店產業都有合作，HTMi所安排的學生、校友及管理階層人員布及全世界。本中心每年2次替國際飯店產業在HTMi舉辦會議室菁英招募人才活動，本中心並提供免費旅行讓表現傑出的學生去參訪各主要國際飯店，並協助在學學生和畢業生尋找國際就業機會和提升他們的就業競爭力。

Our Commitment
The Centre for Career Management at HTMi connects with all major international hotel companies and places students, alumni and executives around the world. The Centre organises international hotel company recruitment events on campus and in our virtual meeting room, career trips for award-winning students to leading hotel centres around the world and provides job searching and career advancement skills and support for all students and graduates.

關於本中心

HTMi的宗旨在於希望每位學生能「來的時候是一位學生，畢業時是一位專業經理人」。為了要完成此宗旨，本校需要給學生們相當多的協助支持，當然學生本身也需要很努力才可共同達成目標。學生透過在HTMi的專業教育訓練之下，熟知現今飯店產業的趨勢和所需要人才具備哪些條件，HTMi的國際就業管理中心統整所有關鍵性的條件，來訓練每位學生使其在畢業前能符合現今飯店產業的國際就業標準。

HTMi每學期提供在校園舉辦的各大飯店徵才活動，還有對於每位學生為相當重要跳板的『在瑞士支薪實習部份』，最後HTMi強調重要的訓練及個人能力發展這塊。

About us
At HTMi our mission for each and every student is: “Come as a Student, Leave as a Manager.” This requires giving students a lot of support and also requires dedication from students. Throughout all the education and training at HTMi we listen to and consider the needs of the international hotel and tourism industry, and their requirements from our graduates. The Centre for Career Management coordinates the key aspects of getting students ready for their career in the international hotel and tourism industry. There are many aspects to this, including campus recruitment events organised each semester; Swiss work training placements which are an important first step in the career of each student, and the all important training for personal skills development.
