Dear New Student and Families:
As the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccines progresses across the country and the decline in COVID-19 cases continues, there is a real sense of optimism that we will soon resume something much closer to normal operations on all three MCPHS campuses. As a result of these trends and due to the success we have had throughout the 2020-2021 academic year to date, we intend to welcome students back to a full reopening of our campus, including our residence halls, for the fall 2021 semester.
The University is working hard to develop class schedules, housing options, campus activities, programs, and events that will allow students to engage again in the on-campus environment and enjoy a dynamic student life experience. We want to assure our new students, their families, and our Community that MCPHS will provide a safe environment for students to live and learn this coming fall.
Our plans for the fall 2021 semester are informed by the current indicators of vaccine availability through the spring and summer as well as the notably low rates of positive COVID-19 test results we have sustained on campus since last summer. We continue to follow the public health guidance that has gotten us to this point and feel confident the outlook for fall 2021 is very favorable.
As always we will continue to provide you with updates on a regular basis throughout the spring semester. We very much look forward to welcoming you to campus for the very first time in the fall.
Sincerely.
